Bill Weir

Bill was born and raised in Northern Ireland and still has a wee bit of that accent! He went to school and college in Belfast where he played basketball and rugby. He captained the Irish Schoolboy's Basketball team and is a life member of Malone Rugby Club. Adventure and his passion for rugby took him to Australia where he taught Mechanical Engineering and played A-Grade Rugby for Wests Rugby Club, Brisbane.

The property business was the next challenge and after a successful career in general agency Bill discovered the world of Project Marketing. Bill was involved with many of the major resort condominium projects on Queensland's famous Gold and Sunshine Coasts working closely with the developers to bring new product to market. During this period he was introduced to selling property by AUCTION and PUBLIC TENDER and believes these two methods of selling property is the "new age" of selling real estate.

A love of skiing and adventure brought Bill and his wife to the US in the mid-eighties and after a few years in California their love of the outdoors and the Colorado lifestyle brought them to Durango. Horses became the next passion after being introduced to the Australian game of Polocrosse. Bill now lives on a small ranch close to Durango where he keeps and trains his polocrosse ponies.

Bill loves the uniqueness of Durango and the many opportunities it offers for lifestyle and investment. It's a great place to call home.
